London Dedicates New Centre, Great Hope

Olivet Academy, whose representatives aim to start school initially on a part time basis, will be using the ground floor of the space. The third floor will be used as a shared space and for other meetings. The five-year lease provides about 2,800 square feet, with each floor using about 800 to 900 square feet. The first and second floors will be for London Emmanuel church use, morning services and other similar events.

The new place was being used previously by another church and by God’s grace, a great amount of good quality furniture and one-century old porcelain dishes and cups has been received as a donation.

During the dedication service, P. João delivered a message taken from Isaiah 60:1-12. For UK and Europe, we are entering a new time. Today we have entered to this new Olivet Centre and soon at the beginning of June, we will be entering Pilgrim Hall. In all this, we can see God’s providence, love, and trust towards us. God is allowing us to enlarge our tents. We are now entering a time where we need to become bigger leaders, bigger trees and prepare to receive many people and do bigger works.

In order to have a healthy church and ministries, we need to have more people that can live with the heart of a father. We should become leaders model ourselves according to Judah, Nehemiah, and Jesus, that lived with a public heart, that was strong and courageous, that saw the needs around them and took action, and that were responsible and willing to pay the cost.

After service, members enjoyed fellowship together and the new place. Please pray that God’s glory may be revealed through the Olivet Centre in London.

New Building at Olivet Centre

A new place has been set up for Olivet UK, a new Centre for Education, Church and administration has been required and has been signed on the 23rd February 2018. This place will be used for many purposes, as well as to give services and for Education purposes to enhance christianity.

Also a dedication service was held, on the 25th February 2018 with a graceful sermon meditating on the meaning of acquiring a new place, as well as London Emmanuel Church services will also be held as this place from now on.

OA UK will explore different parts of London to immobilise and to expand evangelism around the North, South, East and West parts of London. The aim is to find and equip new people who are willing to share and teach the gospel of good news in London and beyond the outer region of London.

With the holidays approaching and especially student residing within their local areas, it will be an opportunity to expand beyond the central areas of London

Olivet Europe mission to expand in Italy

Italy mission is set to be open in the coming month of July. Italy is the fourth most populous country in Europe Region with 61 million inhabitants and the 8th richest country in the world. It is located in the center of South Europe and the Mediterranean Sea that connects with the North of Africa, having borders in the North with important non-pioneered countries such as Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, and also France, and close connections by boat to countries such as Spain, Croatia, Greece and Malta.

A missionary that is currently leading the church in Madrid is preparing to go and plant a church in the historical city of Rome, the former capital of the Roman Empire in the times of Jesus, Peter and Paul, and home to the 1.2 billion strong Catholic Church.

This will become the fourth country to be opened in South Europe after Portugal, Spain and Croatia.
