Various Elim representative leaders from around the world will take it in turns in leading the prayer meetings, which will take place in different languages at different times worldwide.

The prayer relay will be held online through the month, with church members around the world being able to choose which prayer meeting and language to join.

“Elim will open online prayer meeting worldwide for members who want to receive the grace and the power of the Holy Spirit during this time!” announced an Elim HQ spokesperson.

Let us unite in prayer and together call on the power of the Holy Spirit to pour its mercy and abundant grace on us.

The theme of the retreat will be “The Power of Prayer”, with the main passage given in 1 Kings 18:41-46.

41 And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.”
42 So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.
43 “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked.
“There is nothing there,” he said.
Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.”
44 The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”
So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’”
45 Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain started falling and Ahab rode off to Jezreel.
46 The power of the Lord came on Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.

Focusing on this passage, the teens will hear about the story of Elijah praying for rain, and how God answered when he prayed with faith. Other program points that will be covered in the retreat include testimonies, prayer meetings, and breaking bread.

OTM UK will hold regular monthly retreats with teens, helping them to understand God’s Word and to unite with the heart of God more in their lives.

Pilgrim Hall in East Sussex, UK hosted an historic WOA Leadership Conference in April 2019.

The Olivet Centre in UK has hosted an historic Leadership Conference in April at its Pilgrim Hall location in East Sussex.

Around 120 participants from across Europe and the world joined the conference, which saw various ministry-focused conferences and meetings take place through the 5 days.

During the event, the property, which was newly acquired in 2018, hosted a Dedication Service, with the focus to dedicate the premises to doing the works of God, and letting the name of Jesus Christ be known.

In the aftermath of the conference, many delegates offered testimonies of how God had refreshed their hearts during the time together, and that they had renewed strength to push on in the various projects and ministry works they conduct throughout Europe and beyond.

London Summer Retreat 2018 took place in August and saw many attendees travel from far to attend, with UK churchgoers being blessed with the chance to unite with church members from Croatia, Sweden, Portugal, Czech Republic, India, South Korea and the USA.

The UK Summer Retreat took place over two days and saw dozens gather to study the first three chapters of Apostle Paul’s letter to the Romans.

Attendees were able to learn about context in which the letter was written and the relevance of the book of Romans throughout church history in finding and affirming the orthodox truth, and saving faith in times where the church had gone astray and become weak and corrupted. Those gathered were challenged not to be ashamed of the gospel that is the power of salvation for everyone who believes.

The retreat also featured a beautiful performance from Emmanuel Church’s children’s choir, who delivered a beautiful version of ‘A Heart of Worship’.

Attendees were able to meditate on Apostle Paul’s exhortations that we must realise first that we are all sinners; that there is not one who can go before God and call himself righteous by their own deeds. Apostle Paul described man being under the “curse of the law” – only being able to come to know sin through the law, but never being able to overcome or wash away those sins with the law or by our own efforts or deeds.

However, through Jesus Christ, and the cross of love, there is now a new righteousness that has appeared. It is something that has come only by grace, and can be received only by faith, and is available to all mankind, no matter our past deeds or sins.

Realising and accepting this unconditional love that was revealed by God giving his one and only son for us is something that can only truly be accepted by faith. The illogical cross, which saw God trade His own son’s life for our dirty robes and sin, is not something that can be understood by any human means or knowledge. But can only be truly received when you realise this was the extent of God’s love for us, and was given to us not because of anything any of us have done, but only by grace.

This time at the university campus of Greenwich in the east side of London, many interested people were contacted, and in the afternoon there was bible study which was initialized as a group. The listeners were deeply touched by the message taken from Genesis 1 about the Image of God.

After going through all the relevant documents and having a tour of the building, the inspector confirmed that he saw no reason why Olivet Academy could not begin teaching even next week. Plans are in place and in development to ensure that Olivet Academy staff can provide a fuller service to the children until full registration is achieved. Olivet Academy’s next steps will be to get it’s first students through the doors, to apply for full registration by the end of the month and to start making preparations for summer school.

One staff member of Olivet Academy stated: “This is a very precious day and God has been kind to us. The last few months and even years have all been leading up to this point where finally we can begin to teach and raise our second generation in what I hope will be the best way possible. It feels like we’ve been climbing the mountain and finally reached the top and can see the beautiful land on the other side and now we just need to walk in.”Thank you everyone for your prayers for Olivet Academy London.

For older children at Olivet Academy much of the curriculum will be online and so it was decided to get desktops to save their parents the expense of having to buy laptops for their children. In addition, the larger screens on desktops are most likely better for the eyes than small laptop screens.

One staff at Olivet Academy shared, “We are very fortunate that not only is God leading this project, but other members and ministries are willing to help and support this new ministry. I believe very soon this will be a big blessing for us and our children.”

The children now are at an age where they can listen and absorb everything well and wanting to know more knowledge, and coming to know about Jesus and God and have such a precious heart of love for them. It’s now an important time to plant the seeds of faith in them as they are still young and have a pure, humble and fertile heart.

As children will grow with this firm foundation in God as a child, they will be able to always follow God, and even like the prodigal son, at least know how to return to Him when they may go astray throughout their lives.

One has been form back in June and further due there was an outreach session on Saturday where evangelism was taking place at Brixton in South London. More meetings will be established in order for the future to welcome to London Emmanuel Church and willing to serve God and to work for his kingdom.
