Sunday Service London, Peter Heals a Lame Beggar
Congregants of London Emmanuel Church listened to the sermon titled. Peter Heals a Lame Beggar, after the pentecost and after the holy spirit that truly poured down in that time, there was truly a huge shift in the believers as they devoted their time together having a full dedication to God, preaching teaching and also breaking of bread and prayer.
Later there was the co work of Peter and John, one with faith and the other love. For us in times we need to have this kind of encouragement if we have love only then to find someone to co work in faith and the other way round. however what is more important is that they co worked in unity, when the holy spirit is truly upon us then our hearts will be more open towards each other, the holy spirit transcends beyond customs, traditions and time and space, it goes beyond anything and everything, This kind of love truly breaks all barriers of misunderstanding, and we come to accept each others differences.
Further due, this miracle which the beggar was lame, the beggar was only looking at money all this life and even for us in the world we live in everyone looks at money they are not lame, however their only focus is to get money and more of it. Peter and John keeping the Jewish traditions of set time prayer met the beggar and saying look at us.
Look at us, look at how much our life has changed from just being a fisherman in Galilee to the one now who has been healed and now follow Christ, this same power that changed us can now change you.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth walk, the beggar was healed and praising God altogether.
For us in our live we need to be healed, we need to focus our attention towards Christ, he is the one who has a much greater power. The power to heal and transform a person with love.
